📝 Project Overview

In large-scale government operations like elections, efficient transport logistics can be the difference between a smooth process and operational chaos. Recognizing this, the Election Commission of Assam (Kamrup Metro) partnered with COMPLIT to develop a custom real-time vehicle tracking portal tailored specifically for election-day transportation needs.

This portal was designed to assist polling agents, many of whom travel long distances to reach their assigned booths. With our solution, they can view the live location of their designated vehicle, get contact details of the driver and co-passengers, and receive updates—all from a simple, easy-to-use web interface. The goal was to ensure that every agent reached their destination safely, efficiently, and on time, even in the most remote areas.

The project was not just about vehicle tracking — it was about building a reliable communication bridge between logistics coordinators and ground-level agents in real time. This solution significantly contributed to maintaining order, punctuality, and accountability during one of the most logistically demanding events in the region.

  We designed the interface for fast loading and usability across devices, even in low-connectivity rural zones, where polling agents might access the portal using older smartphones or unstable data networks.

• 🖥️ Admin Monitoring Dashboard
  Election officials have access to a backend dashboard that shows the status of every vehicle, allowing them to track departures, monitor delays, and reassign agents in case of unexpected problems.
